16-year-old Texas student asks teacher to adopt him so she did

Anthony Berry did not want to be adopted. That is, until he met Bennie Berry.
It was an exciting day at the Jefferson County Courthouse. The courthouse was decked out in all things Wizard of Oz for the children who found their forever families. The children followed the "Yellow Brick Road" to the "Mayor of Munchkin City" better known as the 317th District Court Judge Larry Thorne's courtroom. 18 kids in all were adopted Friday. Ages ranged from alm ost 1-year-old to 16-years-old.
