April 2016 Alexander Rondos, EU Special Representative for the Horn of Africa made this comment about Somali security and responsibilities.

“The responsibility there (security) is not for the internationals, Somali security, Somali Authority needs to wake up and start acting on it. Government has to deliver and not keep pointing the finger at others. Either it assumes its sovereign responsibility or it doesn’t”

This looks like a future answer to Security director Sanbaloolshe’s NYT article.
