The new Somali police commissioner General Mohamed Hassan Ismail took office in colorful ceremony held in General Kahiye police academy in Mogadishu today.

Former police boss General Abdihakim Dahir Said handed over the duty to the new boss in the eyes of key Somali security officials including deputy internal security minister Ibrahim Issack Yarrow and senior officers from national intelligence.
