Chapter 25 The RNA Viruses of Medical Importance (CC)
This lecture looks at the RNA viruses that cause human disease. We discuss the various types of RNA viruses including Enveloped RNA viruses, Non Enveloped RNA viruses and double stranded RNA viruses. Some of the major viruses discussed included influenza, Measles, Abroviruses, HIV and Polio. We also discuss the possible treatments and prevention of the different viruses mentioned in this lecture.
