Fable continues her constant torment of Dire. He asks her why she's doing this. Fable tells Dire the story of her dark past. Her mother Heidi and brother Hacivat lived out in Wailing Woods. Her father was killed by a werewolf under mysterious circumstances. Hacivat constantly ridicules and makes fun of Fable teasing her about a werewolf in the woods.

Fable is grounded by her mother Heidi. Cast to her room, late at night in Wailing Woods she doesn't see Slenderman, but rather a ghost, or was it a werewolf...or a little lizard? No, it isn't a little lizard. It's definitely a werewolf. Little lizard's are way scarier. Anyway, Fable runs out to search for the dire wolf. She finds him, but quickly regrets it as he begins to chase after her. She returns home to tell her mother Heidi. Heidi does not believe her and tells her to quiet down before she wakes up Hacivat.

The net day, Fable returns from the market and finds her house has been destroyed. Hacivat warns her that a werewolf attacked and got their mother. Heidi can't be dead and Fable does not believe Hacivat. To her dismay though, he was right.

Dire tries convincing Fable that was't him, but she doesn't believe him. So it goes.
