How to Make Shower Hotter without Raising Water Heater Temperature

My shower was getting cold super fast in the winter. I thought it must just be a low temperature setting on my heater, but that wasn't the case. The valve in the shower was capping a maximum mixture of hot and cold water! This video shows you to change that max limit. You do need to make sure you're below safe max temperature limits for showers in your state, though.
