Skiing and Snowboarding in Norway

This year we have Myrkdalen and Voss in Norway as our destination for our road trip. First a flight to Bergen, from where a 2-hour drive takes us to Myrkdalen.

In Myrkdalen you mainly find open terrain on not too steep slopes, which is nice for the safety with regard to possible avalanches. On the lower parts you will also find great opportunities between bushes and trees for the flat light days.

Day 2 we report to Voss Resort. Guide Einar is there for us and it becomes our legend during the day.
Voss breathes history and the terrain has more vegetation than Myrkdalen. The sporty ski guests here are not looking for luxury. Lunch in the mountain restaurant, for example, offers a choice of 3 types of soup. Sandwich with it and that's it.

Day 3 we take a different approach.

This time no search for powder.
We go to Flam for a fjord tour in the morning. Guide Erik receives us and gives us a floating suit that we put on over our technical Picture Organic outfit.
