I Studied 50 Different BIRRIA Recipes, Stole ALL THE SECRETS, And Made This
For this video, I spent 1,477 minutes (24+ hours) researching how to make Birria by watching 50 YouTube birria videos, learning from 38 different creators, including Abuelas, Taqueros, and passionate home cooks who were kind enough to share their recipes with us.
This is my first and second time making Birria, and also my first time tasting Ques Birria tacos. But I didn’t want to wing it. I wanted to understand it. So I tested two cooking methods:
🔥 The Instant Pot “easy” way (for those who don’t have 5 hours to burn)
🔥 The Traditional Dutch Oven method (slow, rich, and deeply flavorful)
I’m not a chef. I’m not a taco expert. And this isn’t some recycled 5-minute birria recipe pulled from TikTok. So… does studying that much really make a difference? Can a beginner make birria that tastes legit? Can you? This is my take built from hours of research, respect, and a whole lot of trial and error.
