My Disability Justice: Behind the camera | Doha Debates

It’s rare that film crews include disabled people. Jacob Grafman says that’s partly because people think that Deaf workers like him can’t communicate with the rest of the crew—and therefore can’t do the job.

We teamed up with World Enabled to make sure that people with disabilities were represented both in front of and behind the camera. Follow Jacob, a grip on the #MyDisabilityJustice series, through a day on our set with a sign language interpreter.

The #MyDisabilityJustice series was produced in partnership with World Enabled. Watch the full series here: https://dohadebates.com/disabilityjustice/
