I First Went to School at 14 | Animated Story about Hero Parents

I live in a family of real heroes. My parents are pediatricians, but not ordinary ones. The fact is that they travel to different poor countries where there are no hospitals and generally no normal medicine.
Before I was born, my parents were rarely at home, but as soon as I was born, they got a job at the city hospital and forgot about their adventures for a while. I had a babysitter until I was five, and then I went traveling with my mom and dad.
They had no one to leave me in the city with, so I became part of their team from an early age. We often lived in a tent or a large trailer, getting to know new peoples and their traditions.
My parents understood that this way of life left me without proper education, so they taught me on their own, preparing me for the fact that sooner or later I would go to school.
Several years passed unnoticed in endless wanderings. I thought I would always have this lifestyle. But one day my mother said that we would have to go back to the city because she was pregnant.
Moreover, the pregnancy was very difficult, so there was no way to do without good medical care. We all felt a little sad as we said goodbye to our travels and the people we helped. But there was no other way out, because the health of my mother and a baby was in the first place.
Our return to the city meant that I would have to go to school. To be honest, I didn't really want to study there, as I was already used to homeschooling without a schedule or any rules. At the same time, I knew that there was no getting away from it, so I started preparing for the entrance test.
My goal was to get the required number of points for enrollment in the eighth grade. At the same time, I was sure that I had enough knowledge from my parents to easily solve all the tasks, so I did not spend much time preparing.
When I got to school, I was very excited, but I was even more nervous when I was given an exam form. But all the emotions immediately disappeared when I saw the tasks. They seemed surprisingly easy to me, and in just half an hour I left the building thinking that I had done everything perfectly.
I was looking forward to the results, and the day they came was one of the worst days of my life. The letter said that the level of my knowledge corresponds to the fourth grade and the headmaster can only assign me there.
Reviewing my answers that came with the email, I did not understand how this could have happened, because mom and dad had tried to teach me everything. I was so upset that I didn't want to go to school at all.
My parents tried to ask the headmaster to give me a chance to study in the eighth grade, telling him that I was a very smart and capable girl. But he said that it would be difficult for me there with this level of knowledge.
So, a few days later I went to school for the first time without feeling any trepidation. My new classmates and even some teachers were shocked by the appearance of a fourteen-year-old girl in the fourth grade, which made me very ashamed.
From the first day of school, I became a black sheep, and only few people wanted to communicate with me. The age difference, and the other way of life that I hed over the years, made themselves felt, because my interests were fundamentally different from those of the guys. It was very difficult for me to start communicating with someone.
Besides, the guys were very dependent on the general opinion of the class. For example, if there is an outsider among them, then no one should talk to him, otherwise everyone will turn away from this person too. I was invisible to them, and because of that, I couldn't make friends with anyone.
There was another problem – city life. I was already beginning to miss places far from civilization, because the city seemed too noisy and restless for me. There were only tall gray buildings around, which made me feel sad. I lacked fresh air, greenery and serenity.
I was often in a bad mood because I felt like a stranger. However, after a few weary weeks, I had the opportunity to get closer to the class. We were taken on an excursion to the terrarium, and I hoped that on this trip I would finally find friends, because I know a lot about reptiles and I can tell the guys something interesting.
However, the day passed as usual: my classmates hardly spoke to me, so I only had to listen to what the guides were saying. I already knew a lot about these snakes, lizards, and spiders, so the lecture was unbearably boring for me...
