Former Australian special forces commando details Hamas' reason for terror attacks
Former Australian special forces commando Weston Hennessey says Hamas committed the terror attacks for the reaction as Israel was always going to respond with retribution.
"If we go back to approximately a week ago, and then we look where we are now with how many other countries are suffering extremist groups who are creating a lot of violence,” Mr Hennessey told Sky News Australia host Erin Molan.
“We’ve seen some horrific episodes here in Australia, the French have deployed 6,500 troops across their streets.
“And all through Middle-Eastern countries as well – where a lot of the Western embassies have told their personnel to get out of those countries ASAP.
“This is the reaction that I believe the action was for – to stir up the hornet’s nest.”
