Spring cleaning and how it affects your mental health.

For years, I have been trying to keep my living spaces clean and organized. But my mental health issues got in the way. I used to be overwhelmed with my spaces. Organizing was a chore, and on most days, getting out of bed was a big deal. Here, I talk about spring cleaning and why it is a better choice for me now because my mental health is important, and keeping organized is an important part of my healing. Creating a clean, organized environment helps me keep track of what's important and letting go of that which has no use, anymore. Recycle or reuse items where and when you can. Swap out cardboard boxes for plastic storage containers when you can. A clutter-free environment equals a clearer more clutter-free mind.
