Landing WIth A Tension Knot

I noticed this tension knot when I looked at my wing on a recent flight at the Moonshiners fly-in.
The wing seemed to fly generally normally but had a reduced climb rate and it didn't feel exactly the same.
I tried to clear it in the air and probably could have but it was knotted so that any added tension on any of the lines would have caused the knot to become tighter so the only way I could have cleared it would have been to unload the wing somehow.
I decided leaving it would be safer.
When it came time to land I found that there wasn't quite as much flare authority. Fun landing. (stumblestumbelstumblefall)

The error made: for some reason I didn't see this until a lot longer into my flight than I should have. I usually look at the wing as soon as I'm in the seat and safely climbing but either I didn't look this time or I didn't see it.
That has now changed.
