Cloudbase and beyond

I've looked at clouds from both sides now ...

Once upon a time there was this thin and patchy low layer of clouds ...
It looked very flyable ... and it was. It was also lower than expected.
But I decided not to hang around up there very long.
Note - due to the camera angle and viewpoint, it looks deceptively thick. But there were a lot of holes and I had eyes on the ground the entire time.
Still, while it was a fun flight, lessons were learned.
