POP! My Bladder's Falling Out! (Episode 58)
Lisa shares how she learned about pelvic organ prolapse, POP. Pelvic Organ Prolapse is when your bladder, uterus, or rectum pushes against your vaginal wall and can come down out your vagina.
As Lisa talked with friends about what she was learning, she realized that many also did not know that their organs could basically fall out their vagina. She decided that, even though it is sort of taboo to talk about your vagina with strangers, she would share her story so other ladies could be made aware of the possibility.
For those concerned: Lisa is fine and improving her pelvic floor strength with the help of a pelvic floor physical therapist.
Legal Disclaimer: Lisa is not a medical professional. This video is just intended to inform others of the possibility of pelvic organ prolapse and to share her story of discovery. Please do your own research and talk to a medical professional to address any concerns you might have about the health of your pelvic floor.

We like helping students think. We're not so much interested in teaching them WHAT to think, but more importantly HOW to think. And even more...that they SHOULD think. We try to create a classroom environment that allows students the space to think, encourages open discussion, and hopefully lights a passion for learning. We believe we are all #CreatedForLearning, and we love exploring what that looks like throughout our lives.
