IRON MAIDEN BOEING 747-428 "Ed Force One" at Taxiway Quebec - Amsterdam Schiphol

It was really busy with people. Lot's of planespotters had come out to catch a very famous bird. Iron Maidens Boeing 747-400 aka ED FORCE ONE! They had an concert on wednesday in the city of Arnhem. Because Eindhoven airport was closed due to runway maintanance and Maastricht got all the Eindhoven traffic, the hardrock band brought the plane to AMS!
So there I was with loads of other spotters and Iron Maiden fans waiting. Icelandairs B767-300 touched down, nice first catch! But runway 27 was closed for a while. We feared it might open when EF1 was nearby. And it did. Some made the right call to go to 27 early but others, including me, went as soon as 27 actually opened. I was with public transport but I happily got a lift from some friends. It was a race against a fast moving Boeing 747 which as you'd expect were going to lose although no one really cared about the speed limits on the road. I soon felt we were not going to make it and suggested we should go back immediatly and go to taxiway Q. If EF1 rolled out long enough it would take it. Thankfully it did! The car was parked and I ran to the taxiway! EF1 already turned onto the taxiway so I did not have time to set up my tripod! I filmed by hand but also tried to wave to the crew. Some said they waved back but I couldn't see it. :P But it was a magical moment anyway! I honestly believe that with the bad lightconditions at 27 Q was even better than the landing itsself! As EF1 started to prepare for a turn onto the romeoplatform we quickly went to the spot overlooking that platform. The 747 would be parked on Romeo 72, as close to the fence as possible! We were not the only one there! Hunderds of planespotters and Iron Maiden fans gathered! I have rarely seen it so busy at AMS! I tried my best in the chaos to get some good shots. I have to say that's it okay what I got! But wow it was so crowded!
