Plane Spotting Liege & Maastricht Airport 30-7-2022 | Red Hot 747 & Rare AN-124

I think this is my first ever compilation featuring two airports in one video, and the first one featuring the airport of Liege. Since I only made two shots at Maastricht on the same day as the rest of the footage at Liege, I thought let's put them together in one compilation. We start at Maastricht with a Ryanair B737-800 take off and the Qatar Cargo B777F Moved by People livery, which is a new special livery catch for me. Then I drove to Liege where I got my second encounter in almost two months of the beautiful National Airlines Boeing 747-400F N936CA ex waterbomber in that beautiful red/white and gold livery. This time I think I got a better shot of it than when I caught it departing from Amsterdam Schiphol. There were more 747-400s to enjoy later on. An ASL Airlines Queen departed and I caught the arrivals of a Saudi Arabian Cargo and an Astral Aviation. There were a couple of bizjets around too aswell as a ASL Airlines B737-400F. And there was offcourse the Antonov AN-124 from Maximus Air Cargo. I tried a different spot at the end of the day which did not really work out sadly. The aircraft you'll (sort of) see here are an Ethiopian Cargo B777F and an CMA CGM A330F which is operated by Air Belgium.

What you'll also see in this video is a picture I took at Maastricht of an ex KLM Boeing 747-400. This bird with registration VQ-BWL used to be PH-BFW. It sadly looks like Longtail Aviation is already done flying it and it departed this day to Victorville with an unknown future. I got a quick shot of it as it climbed out. All three ex KLM 747's which went to Longtail Aviation now seem to have an unknown future. Part of the reason for this is that in Europe it is now no longer allowed to fly cargo in cabin. It was nice to see PH-BFW again but I'm afraid it will have been for the last time. A bit of a sad note then but I hope you enjoy the video.
