Borromeo String Quartet: Conversation with the Artists
Members of the Borromeo String Quartet speak with David Plylar of the Music Division about their participation in the (Re)Hearing Beethoven Festival at the Library of Congress. Topics include the use of primary sources, playing from the score and manuscript, Beethoven’s markings, and transcriptions of Beethoven’s music for string quintet.
