Aussie Bush

I took the 3 photos a year ago (5/9/2013) with the vague idea of doing "something" with them. They were all taken using my then new 'bird' lens, the Sigma 150-500 mm, and all at the 500 mm end - all from the same spot, too! However, I may have aimed the camera very slightly to the right for the 2nd and 3rd images.

After taking the first image, I merely focussed the camera on the eucalypt further away and finally on the cliffs in the distance. They were all taken at 1/500s @ f8 but I've just noticed that the ISO was different for each shot, so I must have set it to Automatic.

Finally, today I decided it was time to do the 'something' and this little 18-second video clip is the result. It is my first attempt at making a clip from scratch, rather than joining a couple together, which I have done already.

The bird calls you hear were recorded (on my Sony MiniDisc Recorder) in dense bush near Grafton in northern N.S.W. The persistent call on the right is from a Grey Shrike-thrush.

I hope you find it interesting.
