OnePlus One Microphone Problem

Some OnePlus phones will suffer from a useless main microphone with an incredibly low call volume - unable to carry on a telephone conversation with someone unless you either use a bluetooth headset OR if you engage the speakerphone function then top microphone will activate and then you can talk through the top of the microphone. This of course is not what users expect when they buy a flagship phone and only to be able to carry on a conversation on speakerphone and not by holding the phone up to your ear. I am seeking a warranty RMA replacement with OnePlus and will let you know how it goes.
