Quantum-Resistant Cryptography From Lattices
Seaker:Hans Heum, NTNU
Abstract: In this talk I will answer a question left unanswered at the recent meeting in Trondheim, by showing how to build encryption schemes from lattice-based hard problems. Time permitting, I will then give a brief overview of the best known classical and quantum attacks, giving us some confidence that the problem is hard also for quantum computers. This talk builds on the seminar talk by Carlos Cid from December last year.
