From Quantum Computing to Quantum Machine Learning
Speaker: Morten Hjorth-Jensen, Michigan State University and University of Oslo
Abstract: In this presentation I will give a brief survey of our ongoing and planned activity in quantum computing and how it can mesh with planned activities at the Gemini center and other activities in Norway. The se activities span from traditional many-body methods applied to the design and experimental realization of quantum gates and circuits, via quantum mechanical many-body methods tailored to existing quantum computers, to the exciting field of quantum machine learning.
