Kirov (until 1934 “Vyatka”) is the center of Kirov Region, located on the bank of Vyatka river in 900km north-east from Moscow. The population is 543,000 residents.

The town of Vyatka founded by the people of Novgorod in 1174 and used to be the most eastern town of Ancient Russia.
