Ulyanovsk is the second location (after Samar’s) in our Russia Trip 2020.
Ulyanovsk (originally “Simbirsk”) is the city on the embankment of Volga River. Founded in 1648. In Ulyanovsk was born Vladimir Lenin the leader of World Revolution and founder of USSR.
But we came here because it’s just another interesting town on Volga River.
