Family members reminiscing about Roy, specifically what Roy said to a friend on the day of the MoH ceremony. Roy also says something before he passed away that makes my heart smile. He said, "I don't want this for notoriety purposes. I don't want the medal for what the medal brings. I want it for my kids and my wife. I want the benefits to go to them and what ever notoriety I generate, I want them to have it. I want to be very clear about this. This isn't about me. it's about my wife and family."
