But 59-year-old Steve Jones finally moved out of critical care in hospital in Cardiff this week.

His is a remarkable story of survival in the fight against coronavirus.

The chief executive of NHS Wales said today there are now just 12 Covid patients still being treated in intensive care in Wales, the lowest number since the pandemic began.
