How To Prepare For Your First Track Day
This video covers the essential 4 steps you must take to get ready fro your first track day.

Step 1:
Check your brake pads. Make sure they have enough material left on the pads
Step 2:
Check your tire pressure and check your tires for cuts and separation. Most street tires have a maximum cold PSI of 44 lbs. You should drop your tire pressure a little because they will heat up quickly once you start doing laps.
Step 3:
Check your brake fluid. Top it up if there is not enough fluid. If you have older fluid, you might consider changing it for a high temperature brake fluid. You should also bleed your brakes.
Step 4:
Get an SA rated helmet. The current helmets are SA2015 and are good for 12 years - so until 2027. Personally I prefer to get a new helmet every 5 years because the ling gets pretty sweaty and nasty after a few years.
