2023 Prius Prime: Efficient and Actually Quick Plug-In Hybrid!

The 2023 Prius Prime takes all the design, style and efficiency from the regular Prius, and amps things up with a clever plug-in battery that gives you up to 44 miles of range without using any gas. In fact, it has other tricks up its sleeve too. It will drive itself (with a watchful eye) up to 25 mph in traffic.

Our tester was the XSE trim, but it also comes in SE and the top model XSE Premium. The plug-in capability, or PHEV extends the range of the Prius up to an estimated 550-600 miles.
