Here's the blotter update...

As a whole, the scents differ quite substantially in terms of longevity. On the one hand we have Incarnation (still my favourite: unashamedly retro leathery-chypre) and Rajni Nocturne (creamier and more languid as it develops), which remain distinct and assertive several hours after application. And on the other, there's Davana Cedre (attractively tobacco-like at the end), Agar Epice (this one never veers into animalic oud territory) and Gul Rouge (still dusty-rosy) which fade somewhat faster than expected. Malli Insolite becomes thinner and more mineralic with the passage of time; this one will need a few skin wears before final conclusions can be made. And Vettiver Mousson somehow manages to avoid the 'boiled onions' drydown of many vetiver compositions, although it does also become more discreet and subtle than some would like. Now... who's willing to pay £200+ for a bottle...?
