** I had played this song in the past with okay playing, but the video was terrible. So, I decided to redo it, and add tabs. Rush is awesome and I felt like covering them anyways :) I've been getting requests for harder Rush songs, so this was also kind of a stepping stone for me. Overall It's a little harder than Limelight with a tricky solo section. The difficulty is kind of off set by the amount of resting when Geddy plays the synth instead of the bass.

So, You can mostly hear Geddy, but there are a couple times where I'm not sure if he plays the complete kick rhythm, or only parts of it or if it is the synth.

I found this isolated track of Geddy that I used for any spots I wasn't sure on
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AU3oytIiBfU

I found these live videos:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrhnhXHVSQg
0:13 you can see geddy using the foot pedal to play, and not his bass.
1:28 as it pans you can see geddy playing the synth and foot pedal, not the bass
2:33 looks like Geddy moves strings, rather than moving higher in frets in the solo
3:41 Geddy is using the foot pedals while singing: no bass

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7reXTabVlQ
3:37 you can see geddy playing the synth and not his bass in that bridge
4:10 you can see geddy shifting on that solo section, (so using the 9 instead of the 4)
5:32 he has his hand on the mic, an you can hear the synth - therefore no bass
5:52 you can clearly see geddy playing the synth and no bass in the outro
6:08 Geddy switches to playing the bass in the outro
Also for the outro, He starts ont he synth and then moves to the bass

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lgYw5DOZx8
2:28 geddy moves strings, keeps the same fret pattern in the solo.
This video shows what the other two do as well and what I hear from the isolated track.

This all lines up with what I'm hearing on the isolated track, but also that track has the staccato notes that I hear on the original- particularly the first pre-chorus where the 3rd measure of it is not stacatto while the others are. It sounds like Geddy and has all the right markings.

Thanks for watching! Enjoy :)
