Tie-dye pattern : Skull & Spine

Today I am demonstrating how to tie-dye a Skull & Spine pattern on a t-shirt using liquid procion dyes. This is a step by step tie-dye tutorial video where we cover the entire process beginning with the folding and drawing of our skull outline on the shirt using a washable marker. After that we tie off the skull using sinew, and then pleat fold the opposite side of the shirt to create the spine. We then bind the spine with kite string and apply the liquid procion dyes to the tshirt. To finish up we let the shirt sit undisturbed for 24 hours, give it a good rinse, and jump right on into the reveal our new tie-dye skull & spine -shirt. ***Before working with procion dyes or any kind of fiber reactive dye please make sure to pay special attention to all labels including directions, warnings, and first aid instructions***. I highly recommend gloves, eye protection, and a respirator or dust mask per these instructions.
