One fine morning you get up and you find bunches of hair shedding off while combing, you can see lot of hair while combing. This is called as telogen effluvium, where there is a sudden arrest of the growth of hair from your hair growth form the hair follicles that causes sudden shedding of hair. This can be caused by many factors like any major illnesses like typhoid, dengue, or any illness in the past 2 to 3 months, weight loss programme, any medications on your body or any disease that affects you can cause sadden shedding of hair. One good thing is it can regrow in the tip you may have noticed a white tip. This called as the bulb, which is white which is normal. If the hair root has a black or sticky tip this is called as anagen hair, this is not normal. Telogen hairs can grow to a natural hair cycle. Once you come back to the normal condition, you can see your hair is growing back. We can do Computerized Hair Analysis and find the reason for excess of hair.
