HMS Glasgow rolled onto submersible barge ahead of float off.

The first Type 26 frigate, HMS Glasgow was rolled off the hardstanding at Govan shipyard and onto the barge on 25 November ready for her journey down the Clyde. The barge will slowly submerge in the deep waters of Glen Mallan and the ship will be floated off. She will then be towed back up the Clyde to begin the long fitting out and test & commissioning phase at the Scotstoun yard.
