HMS Sutherland returns home to Devonport for final time before major refit

Filmed from her Merlin helicopter "Highlander", HMS Sutherland making her way through Plymouth Sound with crew lining the decks for procedure Alpha. The ship will now enter low readiness awaiting LIFEX refit in Devonport where she will receive new engines and major upgrades. She is the last RN warship to carry the Sea Wolf missile system and this will be replaced by Sea Ceptor.
