在被快节奏和工业流水线作业所挟裹的当下社会，匠人依旧坚持用年复一年的沉淀打造出极致如诗般的高超器物。而一直以来，社会似乎对匠人都带有刻板的印象：他们封闭、顽固、贫穷、终身在昏暗简陋的作坊里工作。导演、制片人李武望希望用新生代的视角，打破偏见对匠人的偏见，让每一个人了解匠人与匠心背后的价值，也让传统手工艺真正走到大众生活并得以延续，去和喜欢它的人产生互动。
In the current society, which is full of fast-paced and industrial assembly line work, craftsmen still insist on creating the ultimate poetic and superb artifacts with years of precipitation. And all along, society seems to have a stereotypical image of artisans: they are closed, stubborn, poor, and spend their lives working in dark and humble workshops. As a director and producer, Wuwang Li hopes to use the perspective of the new generation to break the prejudice and let everyone understand the value behind the craftsmen and their ingenuities.
