Exploring The Archeological Site Of Cantona, Mexico 🇲🇽

We are visiting Cantona, an archeological site found 58 miles from Puebla, Mexico. This is a lost city in the high desert with many mysteries about the people who once inhabited this area. It was once one of the largest Mesoamerican cities from 600 BC - 1050 AD and was situated along a trading route that connected the Gulf of Mexico to the highlands. The site is 12 square kilometers and contains 500 cobblestone streets and alleyways, numerous Juego de pelota ball courts, residences, and the sacrificial pyramid.
