It means to commit oneself without guarantee, to give oneself completely in the hope that one's love will produce love in the loved person.
It is a decision, it is a promise.
It's a discipline, concentration, patience and faith..

Furthermore it is they that give their lives enriching others , enhancing the other's sense of aliveness that enhance their own sense of aliveness.They do not give in order to receive; giving is in itself exquisite joy.
