Transforming Melamine Wardrobes to Shaker Style with MDF #Ad

For this third bedroom project I'm doing a quick and easy DIY makeover of these melamine wardrobes that came with the house, with cut strips of MEDITE Clear MDF, glue, and primer and paint. This is about as 'faker shaker' as you can get but I don't think the end results are discernible from the real thing 😁

Was this done during lockdown? It was and I'm aware that in making internet videos I should be vaguely responsible so here's the story:
So after my friend Steve helped me with insulating and plaster-boarding my garden room, he caught the DIY bug (okay, bad phrasing) and went on to become a trained electrician for fun. Legend.
So he was over in his tradesman capacity doing the electrics in the bedroom and helped cut the MDF as a side job; so all within the rules. More importantly (in my book anyway) we had both isolated for 10 days before, especially us as we had been to hospital to deliver our little one. It's a boy! 👍
