Ninja Fails to Qualify for Fortnite World Cup & New Tech to Stop Phones at School

For these school kids, the day starts with putting away their smartphones.

These lockable pouches are something that've been around for a while and are currently used by more than 1,000 schools in the US but this is the first time they've been trialed at a school in Australia and so far, students here have found it really helpful.

Before the pouches, the teachers here had a rule against phones but they say it was tough to police & stop the kids from using them.

Now, they only use their phones if they're filming or taking photos for school work.

If there's an emergency, like a flood or evacuation it takes about 10 minutes for all students to unlock their pouches.

So far teachers say it's helped to cut down on bad behaviour and the company behind the pouches says other schools are keen to adopt them too.
