Blackened Yellowtail Fish Recipe
What you will need: is fresh yellowtail flakes, butter, blackened seasoning a cast Iron skillet and an outdoor grill. First fire up your grill with the cast iron skillet on the grates and heat your grill to at least 450 degrees fahrenheit or on high. You are gonna want that skillet super hot after that make sure the fish don’t have any bones, next melt appropriate amount butter into the bowl long enough for the fleas fit in then completely soak each side of the fleas in the butter and set them out, now the most important part here is to completely coat both sides of every fish fillet with your black seasoning, I like Chef Paul Prudhomme's magic seasoning blends, specifically blackened redfish magic once your skillet is between 400 and 450 degrees fahrenheit place each fillet on the skillet there will be a lot of smoke and sizzling that’s good. Since you’ve completely covered each side of the fish seasoning that’s what burning and the fish is cooking quickly on top of that two minutes flip the fillets to over you may need a metal spatula if any of it got stuck in the skillet then keep the fish on another two or three minutes, remove the fish and you're ready to serve, in my house we all love blackened fish sandwiches with onions lettuce and tomatoes and we top it with 1000 island dressing mix with nannies.
