J'Attend - Montreal Music Group

Kalmunity Vibe Collective is a Montreal Musical Group that performs completely improvised shows with instrumentalists, singers, poets and MCs. Every other Wednesday, they host a workshop open to the public to learn how to do "Spontaneous Composition" as they do. I am attending every workshop this summer.

This is a video of one song we came up with- "J'attend" or I wait. Note, this song was completely created on the spot. The vocalists listen for a few seconds then come up with a chorus and some verses, then the entire group works out an overall song structure as it goes on.
