LIVE: Extraordinary plenary session on the Russian invasion of Ukraine

On an extraordinary plenary session, Members of the European Parliament will debate the Russian invasion of Ukraine and EU's response to it with President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, High Representative Josep Borrel, President of the European Council Charles Michel, and Speaker of the Ukrainian Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk. A resolution will be voted by the plenary.

Parliament President Roberta Metsola and the political group leaders denounced Russia's military attack on Ukraine within hours of it taking place, and have expressed support of an unprecedented European and international response.
