In this series, I will cover all siege tactics that were used to capture fortifications and how to defend against them.
This first episode covers the question of why you would want to lay siege to a castle instead of avoiding it. We will go over the advantages and disadvantages as well as an example of what happens if you don't capture them. We will also go over what the purpose of a castle is.
