Blanca Peak: Skiing Colorados 4th Highest Point
A random visit to Creston Peak last year has led to a return trip back to this corner of Colorado. First we sandboarded the Sand Dunes National Park and the next day we climbed Blanca Peak. This Colorado 14er is tucked away in a rugged looking corner of Colorado. It's a unique mountain range that rises up on the edge of a giant, flat expanse. The visual contrast is stunning and well worth the visit. Even Christof couldn't deny its majestic beauty as he suffered to it's summit.
