Sembrat Breaks Roxbury HS Record With 22.76s 200m at NBN; Now Owns Records in 200m 300m 400m & 600m

America's top Indoor Track Champions traveled to the historic New Balance Track & Field Center at The Armory in New York City today to compete with the Nation's best from as far as Utah, including Illinois, Ohio, Massachusetts, Florida, Virginia, and New Jersey.

Kevin Sembrat, Jr. (Lane 3, white Nike headband, neon green shirt), Roxbury High School's Team Co-Captain, graduating Senior and multi-Record Holder, was Roxbury's sole male qualifier in this hear's National Championship.

He traveled with the Team's Girls' 1600 Spring Medley Team, his Coaches Derek Bischoff & Coach Laura Schmidt, and some parents and friends to test his mettle against the Nation's best -- and he did not disappoint! 

He ran an impressive 200m in only 22.76s, breaking Roxbury HS's 200m Record and setting a new PR for himself!

Sembrat Now owns Records in the 200m, 300m, 400m & 600m

Despite being unexpectedly jammed up in the pack in the final turn, he wrapped up his final High School Winter Track Season by logging a 50.87s 400m -- nice job, Kevin! See you on the upcoming outdoor Track for your final High School Spring Track Season before college-level!
