A different view of Venice, Italy

Covid has forced me to be creative, so I created this as an experiment. A blend video of still images from our visit in 2014, and video captured from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. This video aims to provide a different look, with some helpful hints 'n' tips on visiting Venice. We pick up on the major tourist attractions of St. Mark's Square, the Grand Canal, Ponte dell'Accademia, the Rialto Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs and Venetian Arsenal.

We also take a look at Murano, Burano, and a flypast of Cemetery Island.

We then use flight sim to look at Venice during a thunderstorm and then dial in the snow. Why not take a look?
