Thesis - Tranquility Wellness Centre

In a time of high paced social life and technological domination in our lives. One does not find particular time or place to find solace. Thus, the society needs more spaces where one can relax, rejuvenate and heal themselves. Architecture has the ability to shape our environments, our society and our lives.

In my design, the wellness center will aim at providing a therapeutic environment in which architecture and landscape are sensitively located and designed for rehabilitation, a process of rebirth, and incorporated with new therapeutic programmes. Potentials of natural site features like topography, outcrops, stream, and trees are explored and responded in order to provide a better place for people facing depression and anxiety.
