The late, great Rupert Hine was British folk-rock singer / composer, who crafted his musical career in the vein of similar artists like Cat Stevens and Roy Harper. In 1971 he released his debut album "Pick Up a Bone", which was realised thanks to Deep Purple's very own Roger Glover, who produced the album and played percussion parts (mostly with tambourine). Sadly after a long battle with cancer, Hine died in 2020 at the age of 72.
