In the honour of maestro Jon Lord who was born on this day in 1941, we share with you one of his magnificent guest appearances. Legendary British composer David Bedford gathered an all star cast of musicians for a live interpretation of his 1976 album "Odyssey". The concert was performed at the iconic London's Royal Albert Hall in the early 1977. Sadly the live recording was never released until 2011, in honour of Bedford who passed away that same year. Here you can hear an extraordinary performance by Lord on synthesizers, supporting a signature guitar sound from none other than Mike Oldfield.
