60009 'Union of South Africa' on The Nene Valley Railway | 2018

Following a successful visit in September 2017, LNER A4 Pacific no. 60009 'Union of South Africa' returned to the Nene Valley Railway, Peterborough, for a weekend of running alongside resident SR Bulleid Pacific no. 34081 '92 Squadron', under the event name 'Steam in Green', during the 1st weekend of September 2018. Another initial guest planned to visit, was B1 61306 'Mayflower', but at the time of this event, was not yet ready for running run, following extensive maintenance at Carnforth.

This video focuses on the running of 'Union of South Africa', between Peterborough Nene Valley, Wansford and Yarwell, including close up shots of the morning preperation at Wansford Yard and offshed movements, with a bonus clip of 'The Jolly Fisherman' dining train on the Friday evening before.

All shots filmed in Stunning 4K on a Panasonic VX980, with a Takstar SGC-598 Microphone.
